Bandaranaike International Airport 

Sri Lanka has four international airports relevant to business and private aviation. SEAS provides ground handling, permits, fuel and trip support at each, with a local team and one operations desk. Ground handling must be arranged before landing, while parking is allocated by the tower. SEAS confirms handling acceptance, parking, permits and any airport-specific PPR, slot or prior-approval requirement — on a movement-by-movement basis.

Customs, immigration and health are published H24. SEAS coordinates passenger and crew processing, General Declaration documentation and arrival/departure formalities. Crew-visa and immigration requirements are reconfirmed for each nationality, aircraft and operation before travel.

Jet A-1 is available H24 through refuellers and hydrant dispensers. AVGAS 100LL is available on request with advance notice. Oil and lubricants may be made available through the nominated supplier with prior notice. Uplift, aircraft type, quantity and timing should be confirmed prior to arrival.

SEAS coordinates the required Sri Lankan overflight and landing permissions for operations within the Colombo FIR, together with the associated handling and airport arrangements.

Catering, cabin cleaning, potable water, lavatory service, passenger transport, hotels, engineering support, oxygen/nitrogen servicing and hangar space are coordinated subject to aircraft type, supplier availability and advance confirmation. VCBI also has cargo-terminal facilities — bonded areas, cold/freezer rooms, forklifts and weighing to 25,000 kg.
